I respect the will of the voters who voted for me, as a representative of the UNM - Salome Samadashvili releases statement

In connection with the current developments in the National Movement party, a member of the parliamentary faction of the National Movement, MP Salome Samadashvili made a statement.

"I think that as I have received my representative powers as a member of the United National Movement party, today it will be right to continue my parliamentary activities in the party`s parliamentary faction. This decision was not easy, because in this inter-party confrontation there are people on both sides with whom I have many years of friendship, the people with whom i have passed in the country`s recent history most difficult battles for creating a free and European state. I make the choice which, in my opinion, an elected politicain should make. I respect the voters" will, who voted for me as the National Movement Party representative. I wish good luck to all those who made the other choice and I am sure that in the future we will have to continue together the struggle for a better future for the people of Georgia, "- writes Salome Samadashvili.

Salome Samadashvili said she believed that the most important task was to keep the unity of the party, which unfortunately turned out to be impossible to achieve.

"It is categorically unacceptable for me to talk about all sorts of conspiracy theories, which are only in Ivanishvili"s interests," - writes Samadashvili.
