Third Sector accuse political officials of violating presumption of innocence against Archpriest George Mamaladze. The Young Lawyers Association called on politicians to protect the rights guaranteed by the Constitution and law today.

The non-governmental organizations focus on the violation of procedural rights in the case of Father Giorgi and call on the prosecutor`s office to remove the restrictions on the obligation not to reveal the information. The third sector says that that while Shotadze`s agency and state officials publicly expressed their accusations, the accused priest was in unequal conditions and the defence should be given the right to inform the public and to protect their position.

The lawyer Archil Chopikashvili spoke in the live broadcast of the Courier. According to him, the law  should be obeyed not only by the defendant but by the government as well.
