12 Georgian soldiers are exchanged for General Roman Dumbadze who was serving during Aslan Abashidze times.
Only after agreeing about exchange with general Dumbadze occupants decided to set Georgian soldiers free. After 10 days of captivity Georgian soldiers crossed Enguri bridge at 12 AM today. Representatives of local administration and members of parliament involved in this negotiation were waiting for the exchange of Georgian soldiers at 301-st checkpoint.
Soldiers were taken in police department of Zugdidi to be questioned. 22 Georgian military were arrested by Russian occupants in port of Poti on August 18 and later were transferred to Senaki military base. Later 10 of them were set free and the rest were kept in captivity in village Urta and then they were kept imprisoned in Gali.
Nine persons have been arrested within the investigation launched after finding the scandalous videos of human torture and sexual abuse. The videos were along weapons and drugs in a secret store in Samegrelo last week.
Vladimer Bedukadze, former employ of the prison, who obtained and released the scandalous videos of prisoners` torture last autumn, has published an open letter to majority MP Tinatin Khidasheli.
