Russian online newspaper The Kommersant has published an interview with Georgia's new Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze. The correspondent emphasizes the Russian citizenship of Georgia' new minister and his close ties with Russian diplomats.
Mr. Vashadze has told the Kommersant that he is not going to refuse the Russian citizenship because he is the citizen of a country and not a specific government.
The newspaper has also got interested in the possible change of course of Georgian government towards Russia. Georgian minister says that any issue except the independence of the country, its sovereighnty and territorial integrity can become the subject of discussion.
The minister expects that Russia will soon change its policy towards Georgia's breakaway regions of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
