Uprising in Mukhrovani military batallion

Davit Sikharulidze, The minister of Defense of Georgia has made comments regarding the uprising in the Mukhrovani military battalion. Minister said in the interview with Rustavi2, that the commanders of several armored-tank battalions declared disobedience and uprising.
He said along with the commanders of these battalions, who have been officially dismissed by the minister, there are other civilians on the territory of the battalions, whom the authorities urge to surrender and quit the uprising.
`The uprising followed the special operation conducted by the interior ministry last night, when they arrested the organizers of the plot. According to their scheme, it had to be a large-scale uprising aiming at disruption of the NATO-Georgia exercises and the overthrowing the government. The disobedience continues,` the minister said and called upon the organizers to surrender.
