Georgian Christian Democrats holding talks in Washington
Georgian Christian Democrats have been holding meetings in Washington, U.S. during several days.
After talks held in the State Department, the Senate, and the House of Representatives, leaders of the movement attended a mass in the Georgian church in City of Rockville, Maryland.
Later, the members of the movement met Georgian nationals living in Washington DC.
"At the meeting, we talked about what the Georgians living in America can do for their country, for freedom, sovereignty and democracy of our country. In this regard, there is a huge resource in the Georgians living in America and my purpose is to use this resource with talks and frequent relations with them in service of our country", Giorgi Targamadze, the head of the Georgian Christian Democratic Movement said.
